As a dog owner myself, I know how hard it is to keep the house clean. My own Pomeranian leaves me with my hands full of cleaning once she’s done laying on the couch or doing her business outside, and that is just a small dog!
The most difficult thing to deal with, in my own experience, is the hair you find everywhere, all the time. Dogs shed a lot, no matter how much grooming they get, and that can be overwhelming when you have to do all of the house chores yourself.
The secret? Well, it’s not really a secret, some key products help you maintain the house a bit cleaner.
Invest in a good Vacuum cleaner
The best thing to do is invest in a great vacuum cleaner. I have one from Dyson and it’s been the best decision ever. You can buy them online, or at a home appliance store close to you
Keep lint rollers around the house
Lint rollers are easy to use and store, that will keep your clothes cleaner for a longer time (which equals to a short time in real life!).
Keep cleaning supplies near
Keeping the house clean means you’ll be able to see all the spots your dog has left behind. It’s not his fault, he probably didn’t mean to do it.
But what can you do? Keep a pet cleaning spray or solution, maybe some extra towels around at all times so when there’s an accident you can quickly clean it.
Buy floor pads for your Puppy
Buy floor pads for your puppy until he is potty trained. With a puppy it is really important to be patient, more so when he is learning where he should and should not go pee.
Dogs need to be potty trained and it all starts when he is a puppy; this period should not last more than 3 months, though in some dogs the training might take longer.
This is why floor pads for dogs can come really in handy during that time of your life. You’ll be able to train your dog inside the house too and not only in the back yard (as many people don’t have one).
Use Sofa Blankets for your dog

Sometimes dogs get everything messy when they eat. Most of the time this is due to their bad posture when doing so. It reduces bloating and it slows down feeding time.
Make your home more comfortable for your dog!
Not everything is about cleaning after your dog, you also should make your home, his! A good way to do that is by getting them their own “man-cave” where they can spend me-time when they need a bit of space.
You can get them a fluffy bed, or a little tent they can sleep in!
Don’t forget the small ones of the house, if you have a tiny dog that does not reach the sofas by themselves you can kill two birds with one stone and get them a set of stairs that functions also as a dog house!
Your dog loves being near you even if they are alone in their little house, so being by your feet is a great solution.
